The Slater

The core tool we developed took STATE's standard slate project, and turned it into a tool-based template that could be dynamically & easily created by their busy production team.

Upon opening an item to slate, the panel prompts you to fill out various pieces of information about the project to populate the slate. After hitting the big ol' verb button, our tool built out the project, inserted the slate & 2-pop, and embedded a live timecode for editorial reference.

Automated Project Cleanup

Beyond just slating, STATE noticed that several freelancers were sending in projects full of ferociously filthy files. To help fix this, lovatt built out a project cleanup tool, allowing artists internal or external to quickly conform crud into STATE's standard spec.
