After sketching out the broad strokes of the tool's feature set, we got to work building out the panel to meet VFX Legion's needs.
In the end, our tool was able to:
- Set up new shots for the artists, ingesting plates, building comps, creating slates, and preparing outputs
- Manage project and comp versioning, ensuring all artists continue to work according to studio conventions
- Quickly prepare various prerender configurations
- Automatically ingest and update footage plates with the latest versions from editorial
